K-Monitor launched its mobile app (android and iOS) built on the database in October 2014.
Summary
The smartphone application shows geo-relevant public spending and corruption cases on an interactive map that enables commenting and sharing and that also sends notifications to users if news are published about entities (places, institutions, people) of their interest. Moreover users have the possibility to share corruption news from their neighbourhood with K-Monitor. The mobile app shows that corruption is not only a term from the news, it is happening around us day by day and is affecting our everyday lives. It leaves traces on streets, buildings and places we regularly pass.
